Leavenworth, Kansas is a wonderful
town with a small town feel that is close to Kansas City if you
need the city life. We retired from the military here in 1992
and I opened the shop in 1996. The town is filled with
historical homes, museums, quaint shops and one heck of a quilt
shop!
The Quilter's Quarters has been a
dream job for me. My family is the most supportive group
imaginable with the hours I spend on the business. The last four years have seen me making a certain type quilt more often; those
are quilts made for a special little lady in my life. Rowan will
grow up thinking that the whole world celebrates her birthday as
she was born on New Year's Day two years ago. She loves quilts!
And of course, that makes me happy. My Mama always said "get
them young and train them right" and so Rowan will be the next
young quilt designer as you can see from her photo.
We are located just 14 miles
North of the Kansas Speedway, Cabela's, and Nebraska Furniture
