Learn the art of Paula Nadelstern’s simple symmetry with this stunning wall hanging! Experience the mystery of bilateral symmetry fabrics – no 2 designs will be the same. The feature fabric in wall hanging will be from Paula Nadelstern’s latest Patternista collection, soon coming to Quilter’s Quarters. Finished size: 48” x 48”. This two part class is also taught by Cat Nix. Techniques: Working with Bilaterally-symmetric fabrics – the “butterfly” effect, as well as simple, elegant embellishing.

Poppy Fusion
Poppies are one of Cat Nix's (instructor) favorite flowers; she fell in love with this fabric! This quilt is a great way to showcase a large-scale print by setting it around and inside a French Braided background. Inspired by Jane Hardy Miller, this design is made up of 18 strips & 6 small center squares of different fabrics that are arrange to flow seamlessly from 1 color to another . This is a fun quilt to make!
Finished Size: 80” x 96”

Session One 1. Color theory and the French Brain technique 2. Select and arrange background and center square fabrics 3. Piece 1 braid Homework: Finish piecing the Braids; join to complete centerpiece Session Two 1. Add borders – special attention to Focus Border 2. Add motifs - Fusible appliqué.

This club will meet on the first TUESDAY of each month for 6 months.
Learn hand embroidery, embellishments, and just "pieceful" sewing together.

Quilt School
This is a one of a kind series of 6 classes for the Beginner and Intermediate quilter. The beginner student is introduced to the basics of quilt piecing. The Intermediate student will learn techniques such as, paper piecing, curved piecing, basic machine appliqué , 8 pt. intersections, and hand embroidery Select either Thursday or Saturday but sign up soon…these classes fill up fast.

Quilter's Quarters Class Policies
- All fees are required at the time of registration.
- Final class registration is required 1 week prior to the date of the class.
- Classes have a 3-student minimum, unless otherwise indicated.
- Refunds will only be made if the instructor cancels the class.
- No babies, children or guests are permitted in class.
- No photocopying of copyrighted material is permitted.
- There is a $20 fee for returned checks.
